Podcasting Can Actually Be Fun

It’s the damnedest thing. I recorded a podcast about games yesterday and no one yelled at each other or left the recording session feeling upset at the other person. Apparently, amiable game podcasting is possible!

I’m still working on editing the show together. (It’s more than two hours long!) It was a relatively tight show and shouldn’t need much editing. In the first half of the show, we do a pretty standard Whatcha Been Play? Joseph and I talk about our experience playing Gears of War 2 and 3 together in co-op and our own recent gaming rundowns. There was no “You’re stupid because you liked/played that!” and we actually had similar opinions about games!

The second half of the show was all about Mass Effect. I was never able to have a conversation about Mass Effect with any previous guests and it was great to be able to go in-depth about a franchise I love and know pretty well. A lot of it’s a Mass Effect love fest, but we mention our gripes about the first two games as well. If you’re still following this blog or podcast feed, I hope you enjoy the upcoming episode.
